Works
Central were appointed as Principal Contractor. We managed the Asbestos R&DS survey and employed an asbestos removal contractor, to undertake strip and disposal of the non-licenced, asbestos cement bonded roofing sheets. Central installed a Britmet ‘Britlock 510’ Secret-Fix Built-up roof system’, along with liner, insulation and rainwater goods. Our in-house design team at Bridgend contributed to the project.
Rick Rigby, Central Roofing (South Wales) Managing Director, said, “We provide services all around the UK, but always enjoy projects close to home! It was great to deliver the entire project for the Council. They can now safely use their watertight, refurbished storage facility for many years to come”.
